DESIGN-LED ARCHITECTS IN GREENWICH
Francesco Pierazzi Architects is an award-winning, London-based architectural practice providing thoughtful, design-led residential architecture for private clients in Greenwich. Working at the intersection of contemporary design and contextual sensitivity, the studio creates carefully considered homes that respond to both their architectural setting and the everyday lives of the people who inhabit them.
Greenwich is one of London’s most architecturally layered areas, shaped by historic townscape, riverside development and evolving residential neighbourhoods. From Georgian and Victorian housing to post-war estates and contemporary infill projects, the area presents a complex architectural environment that requires careful interpretation.
Francesco Pierazzi Architects approaches projects in Greenwich with a strong emphasis on context, proportion and materiality. Rather than imposing a predetermined visual style, the practice develops architecture that responds to the specific conditions of each site, allowing new interventions to sit comfortably within their surroundings while introducing a clear contemporary identity.
Architectural Design in Greenwich
Designing residential architecture in Greenwich requires an in-depth understanding of both local character and planning considerations. Many properties are located within conservation areas or in proximity to heritage assets, where scale, massing and material choices must be handled with care.
As architects in Greenwich London, Francesco Pierazzi Architects develops proposals that are grounded in a detailed reading of place. Particular attention is paid to how buildings relate to their surroundings, how light enters the home, and how internal layouts support contemporary patterns of living.
The practice’s work in Greenwich often explores the relationship between old and new, carefully integrating modern interventions within existing structures. This approach allows homes to evolve without losing their architectural integrity, resulting in spaces that feel both timeless and forward-looking.
